I have always been a big fan of magazine-style storytelling on digital platforms, embarking on a journey that weaves copy, graphics, photography, and videography in engaging new ways.
Following is a small selection of work I produced over the years, in collaboration with copy editors, content producers, fellow designers and engineers. Some entertaining, some celebratorial and some provocative.
This editorial feature offers an in-depth glimpse into the often-overlooked women behind the scenes of the fashion industry, who serve as a source of inspiration and vital support for renowned fashion figures. Through captivating photography and video clips, their narratives unfold, showcasing the contributions of designers, tailors, pattern makers, security personnel, makeup artists, and even a fashion muse.
Designed to be viewed on mobile first, site displayed beautifully on all screen sizes. The series was designed by Jihyun Song, telling the stories of the fashion industry’s unseen women, while making the photography stand out.

I thought this was a good creative challenge for designer Michelle Elfant. We collaborated on creating an elegant design template, showcasing the docu–series as well as pleasantly informative.

This nine-part oral history presents President Obama’s first-hand account of his time in office–his successes, his failures, his unfinished business–and what he hopes will be his legacy.
The interior screens combined first-hand accounts of the President and his administration with supporting photography. Each part of the oral history started with a feature image along with a title treatment and description. The incredible full width photography added a premium feel to the entire experience.
